SALVATION
How can I be saved?
FIRST
First, you must understand that you are a sinner.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God
SECOND
Second, you need to realize the love God has for you.
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
THIRD
You must understand the penalty for your sin.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
FOURTH
You must acknowledge that salvation is God’s free gift.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Not of works, lest any man should boast.
PRAY THIS PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins. I repent of my sins. I want you to come into my heart. I want to follow you for the rest of my life as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, Amen.
